Welcome!
to the IQ SIG's
Philanthropic Page
| Quilt guilds
everywhere are known for their generosity. Many guilds make
hundreds of quilts to donate to shelters for women and children,
the local police department for the unfortunate children they
encounter, AIDS babies, and other charitable causes. The
members of Mensa's special interest group, Intelligent Quilters
(IQ) are no different. Below are some of the many quilts that
have been made by our members and donated to Mensa's Educational Research Foundation,
MERF, for fund raising events. |

T-shirt Quilts have been very popular as a fund
raiser for MERF. The T-shirts were donated from various Regional and Annual Gatherings
across the country. The quilts are then auctioned off during the MERF auction
at the Annual Gatherings. |
